The sound of Renato Felix

     Renato Felix is a saxophonist, composer and arranger. Born in Lorena (SP.) He has strong roots in Brazilian popular music and in the jazz conception of improvisation.

     His compositions and arrangements are registered in his authorial album entitled "Congo Square", with quartet formation. This album is a simple homage to "Congo Square," located in New Orleans, USA. In this square, the slaves from Africa held their first celebrations of their native culture, continuing the legacy received by their ancestors and thereby contributing to the Culture and Music of the world.
